Nitya Jain

Born in India, Nitya grew up in a multi-generational home where the early morning wake up call was a cup of hot cardamom chai while sauces and spices simmered for all the meals to follow. Home was all about gathering people around a table over a shared common experience through food and stories. Every flavor, space and place holds magic for Nitya and she will follow the light wherever it leads her to bring those elements to life. A background in architecture and graphic design has shaped her photographic journey of weaving light, textures and space into telling visual stories for the New York Times, Eater, AARP, Tito’s, Whataburger, Texas Monthly and many more. In short, she creates vibrant and visual content guaranteed to make your mouth water. When not behind the camera, she is either out on walks with her pup Gia, cooking up a storm while listening to Bruce Springsteen or traveling with her husband and son.
